You will save time by completing this printed checklist before you enter the details on the car description form. If you fill out the checklist whilst standing at your car, you will be fully prepared to answer all the questions as seen on the car description form.

Remember: You set the car's reserve price. The car will only be sold if a bid above the reserve price is received. Registration in the auction is free.

STONE CHIPS

Stone chips are all the places where small holes have appeared in the paintwork. These are typically found on the front of the car.

SCRATCHES

Scratches are described using two grades:
Surface - The undercoat is not visible and it would be possible to polish away the scratch
Deep - The undercoat is visible and the region requires repainting.

DENTS

All the places where the metal is dented or crumpled as a result of collisions or the like. You must specify the size of the dent at the widest point.

RUST

Rust is described using two grades:
Surface rust - Rust in the paintwork that can be polished or scraped off.

Rust perforation - If there are bubbles in the paintwork, the rust is coming from the inside and the metal is thus perforated.

Select Rust perforation if you are unsure whether there is rust perforation or surface rust.
